The security and protection of the confidentiality of your personal data is of great importance to us. In the following, you will find information on the scope in which we process your data and the measures we take to protect your private sphere as a user.

All data collected here are treated as strictly confidential within our sphere of responsibility in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and in conformity with the country-specific data protection provisions which apply to us, such as the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new) or the Telemedia Act (TMG). Processing is conducted either in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter a GDPR on the basis of your consent, Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter b GDPR for the fulfilment or initiation of an agreement with you, Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter c GDRP for the fulfilment of our legal obligations or on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDRP for the protection of our legitimate interests.

We use state-of-the-art encryption methods (such as SSL) to protect your data via HTTPS. Access to the web server will only be recorded anonymously. Moreover, only the fact that access was made and the document which was accessed will be recorded. APOGEPHA makes no reference to the personal identity of the user. The protocol data will be saved for 90 days and then deleted. Access statistics based on this will not be deleted.

We use your data for administrative purposes such as to evaluate system security and connection stability.

If we make use of service providers to carry out or fulfil tasks for us, then the contractual relationships will be arranged in written form in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the new Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG new).

We only process your personal information which you provide us with via our website in order to correspond with you and for the purpose for which you provided us with the data.

You have a comprehensive right to be informed (Art. 15 et seq. GDPR) of the data which our company saves about you.

The following data are saved:

  • Date, time, IP address, dwell time when accessing our website
  • Name and URL of the files accessed
  • Referrer URL, browser and operating system from which our site is being accessed

Additional data recorded from the contact form include the following:

  • Surname, first name, salutation
  • Message content “Your request”
  • E-mail address

We only collect, process, use and save these data for an indefinite period within APOGEPHA Arzneimittel GmbH for reasons of pharmacovigilance in order to be able to clear up and track any pharmaceutical safety issues as quickly as possible.

We take precautionary measures to ensure the security of your personal data. Your data will be diligently protected from loss, destruction, tampering and unauthorised access.

Your data will not be transferred outside the EU.

In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to the correction, deletion, limitation of processing and data portability, as well as the right of objection and the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please inform us of this.

When the DocCheck password protection is used, DocCheck collects the user’s log data (IP address, time and date of access, referrer URL, information on hardware and software used, such as browser features, device information such as resolution, etc.) starting from the website of the information provider which integrates the login into the website via embedding or iFrame.

These data will not be used to draw conclusions about the person in question. Instead, they serve to ensure proper presentation of the page or iFrame contents and/or guarantee the security of the DocCheck services.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service Google LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
